Velana International Airport is approximately 20 minutes from Huraa Island by speedboat (typically $20–30 per person). Alternatively, the public ferry from Malé to Huraa takes approximately 45 minutes and costs around $2. We recommend arranging your transfer in advance — contact us and we will help coordinate.

Yes. Please give us 48 hours advance notice before your arrival and share your flight details. We will coordinate the speedboat transfer so someone is waiting for your flight.

The public ferry operates regularly but schedules vary by season and day. We recommend checking current departure times before travel and building in some flexibility, particularly if you have onward travel booked.

Check-in is from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Check-out is by 12:00 PM. If you need an earlier check-in or a late check-out, contact us in advance and we will do our best to accommodate.

We are a small, personally-run guesthouse — not a large hotel with a staffed front desk around the clock. The 48-hour notice allows us to make sure someone is here to welcome you properly and that your room is perfectly prepared. We think it results in a better arrival experience for everyone.

Get in touch as soon as you know. We will work with you to make sure your arrival is still smooth. Late arrivals within the 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM window are fine. If you anticipate arriving outside those hours, please contact us in advance.

We do not accept pets at Serenity Stay.

All rooms have memory foam mattresses with Egyptian cotton sheets and down comforters. We invested in proper beds because we believe a good night's sleep is the foundation of a good trip.

Yes. Every room has its own private en-suite bathroom with shower, hair dryer, and complimentary toiletries.

Free WiFi is available throughout the property. Connection quality on island guesthouses can vary — we do our best, but if you are planning to work remotely, we recommend having a backup mobile data plan.

Yes. A continental breakfast is included with every stay, served daily from 7:30 AM to 10:00 AM. No surcharges, no packages to add — it is simply part of staying here.

Yes — Huraa has local restaurants and cafes serving Maldivian food and fresh seafood. We can point you to our favourites. For a wider dining selection, Malé is 45 minutes by ferry or 20 minutes by speedboat.

Yes — we can include dinner or full-board meal plans as part of a package. Get in touch and we will put together options based on your stay length.

Yes — we can help arrange snorkeling trips, diving, dolphin watching, sandbank excursions, fishing trips, paddleboarding, and more. Get in touch before you arrive and we will have options ready.

Huraa Bikini Beach is a designated area where visitors can wear swimwear freely. Elsewhere on the island, we ask guests to be respectful of local customs — a light cover-up when walking through the main village areas. This is a traditional Muslim community and modest dress outside the beach area is appreciated.

Yes — the waters around Kaafu Atoll offer excellent diving: walls, channels, and blue-water drift dives. Local dive operators can take you to the best sites. Whether you are a beginner or experienced diver, there is something here.

The Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa is on the adjacent island — you can see it from Huraa. It is a world-class luxury resort. We are a world-class guesthouse. Different products, different prices, same beautiful atoll. Some of our guests have stayed at both and found they preferred the local island experience. We will let you draw your own conclusions.

Cancellation policies depend on the rate selected at booking. We offer flexible rate options — the specific terms will be in your booking confirmation.

We only have four rooms, which means we fill up — particularly during peak season (December through April). If you have firm dates, book as soon as you can. Last-minute availability does exist, but we cannot guarantee it.
